You might know by now that anything above 125 BPM in peak-era disco is one of my favourite playgrounds. And I'm happy to say I've returned to that playground this week!
Ever since I joined the disco tribe, Gonzalez's "Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet" has been firmly established in my all-time favourite disco tracks. This week, I've dedicated my Substack to that very song, and along the way, I uncovered some surprising facts.
So, of course, Gonzalez kicks off this week's Go Dancin', taking us into 65 minutes of pure disco delight, all well above the 130 BPM mark. Hi-NRG territory!
You'll recognise some gems, get reacquainted with a few old favourites, and perhaps be surprised by some deep cuts from the disco archives.
And yes, I've prepared an uplifting finale with Brazil as the main theme. Expect plenty of percussion, irresistible rhythms and a serious dose of feel-good energy.
