The next hour is an action-packed, fast-paced affair, starting with Dolly's disco ditty Baby I’m Burning. It may sound quite poppy, but it’s perfectly beat-matchable with the peak-time disco that follows.
The bridge comes courtesy of another pop star trying her hand at disco: France’s Sylvie Vartan. Via Theo Vaness, we then head straight into the 1979 disco emporium.
Expect big crossover hits from Sylvester, Amii Stewart and Machine, alongside deeper club tracks, all running at full throttle.
