“I Like To Move It” kicks off our journey into the vibrant, genre-blending world of early ’90s house. While house music hadn’t yet fully broken into the U.S. pop charts, that didn’t stop American artists from weaving its elements into their sound or tapping top-tier remixers to rework their singles for the dancefloor. This week’s mix features two prime examples: Janet Jackson’s pulsating “Throb” and Paula Abdul’s groove-heavy “Vibeology.”
