James crafts “multi-genre” mixes that are truly unique journeys. You may know where they start, but the path they take and where you'll end up is always a surprise. There’s a freedom in crossing genre boundaries, and it gave me the chance to create something distinct from my usual TwelveInch style by blending music and cinema—a concept I’ve wanted to explore for a long time.
As a huge fan of film scores, I’m especially excited to combine music with snippets from the films themselves. Join me on a journey through some of my favorite tracks. I’ve grouped them into “islands” of 5-6 songs, each with its own distinct vibe, and as we move from one island to the next, we’ll encounter memorable moments from my favorite 2000 film Gladiator. It’s the perfect way to set the mood for fall and get ready for the release of Gladiator 2. Enjoy !
