I’ll be honest: I’m not a fan of Christmas music. What I do love is the atmosphere — spending quality time with the people you care about. A good meal, a nice glass of wine (or whatever you prefer), talking, sharing, enjoying each other’s company. That, to me, is Christmas.
A feast of light and love — and this set is meant to be its soundtrack.
The tempo is a little lower, but this is no lounge affair. I start with a few message records. It is Christmas, after all — a moment to reflect on our hope for a better world. Listen closely to the opening tracks and maybe take their message to heart.
After the 20-minute mark, things get properly funky.
This nearly two-hour set is an alternative Christmas soundtrack. No jingle bells — just real grooves, a little slower, with room to breathe. Music to enjoy, reminisce, dance, and unwind.
