This first episode of Season Two is dedicated to our dear friend @john-plunkett4 — JP, aka Wolfman Jack.
John is not only a highly talented DJ and curator, sharing consistently outstanding mix-sets on this platform, but also a true father figure within the community. He listens to everyone’s work, responds with kindness, and lifts others up with genuine encouragement. He sets the benchmark for what Mixcloud can be, and is a deeply valued member of this community.
The same goes for his wife Rina, who shares the music with him and keeps the connection alive when John isn’t able to. During the festive period, Rina told me that John is back in hospital and currently in ICU. The situation is serious
I know many of you will join me in wishing him a full and speedy recovery, so that we can soon welcome both John and Rina back among us. Knowing how much John loves early disco, this episode is dedicated to them.
