Description
My substack newsletter of this week tells the story of "Too Much Blood" by The Rolling Stones. It was the third single of their 1984 album "Undercover" and one of the finest remixes of Arthur Baker. But the band did not like the result, the song was never played live, does not feature on any compilation and the twelve inch mixes will probably never be digitally rereleased. If you want to know why ? I refer gladly to my substack newsletter. This week's mix opens with Too Much Blood in a Club/dub combo. Likewise for the second track : "Cover Me" by Bruce Springsteen. Another Arthur Baker rework of the same year. There is some more dance-rock by David Bowie & Dr. John before I slowly make my way to the emerging electro of 1984. Enjoy !
