Number 5 of my weekly 1 Hour Beatmix journeys wanders into the twilight zone between Dance & Rock in the eighties. Dance music was omnipresent and (almost) everybody released dance mixes. Also rock artists like The Motels, Don Henley or the central guests of this week's mix : Daryl Hall & John Oates. They got the help of the remixers & editors of the era who used their magic not only to transform the pop hit into a dance floor killer but also to build something new alongside : the Dub version.
