BBE Beat Generation 10th Anniversary Official Mix Album

In March of this year, BBE released a double mix CD album celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the label's ground breaking Beat Generation series, which featured no holds barred artist albums from the likes of J Dilla, Pete Rock, Jazzy Jeff, Will I Am, Madlib and MFSB string arranger Don Cello. The CD version featured 2 full length mixes from NY's DJ Spinna and the UK's Mr Thing. The digital version featured both those mixes, a full length mix from me and a selection of unmixed tracks from the series.

The mix uploaded here is a half hour extract from my mix covering the hip hop side of the Beat Generation output. The full length mix (about 1 hour in length) goes on to cover the soul and jazz / beats side of the material from the series and can be purchased as part of the digi-package via the link below:
