Yankee Hellbender with DJ Susanna Danner on KRBX Radio Boise. Join me for old country, spanning the cowboy tunes and blues influence of the 1920s all the way to the rock and western influences of the 1970s. From the bayou to Bakersfield, from the sagebrush to the sequoias, from Jimmie Rodgers to Lucinda Williams. We'll round it out with bluegrass and Hawaiian music, and a few newer country tunes that pay homage to country music history.
