Returned from US & prepped a lounge hen party mix for friend's pre-wedding. Decided to this for my radio show as well – a typical mashing mix of sounds, sources & eclectic mayhem with some logic & much intuition. Me & Nina got married on election day [US] 2004, same day Theo van Gogh got stabbed to death on an Amsterdam street. Fanaticism is extremism + insane justifications people find in holy books to empower their actions. I'm not a big fan of marriage/weddings although I'm now married for the 3rd time. It doesn't mean I don't like people getting married & it doesn't mean I can't enjoy a reception or dance at one! – if I'm not DJing. the choice of sound was predicated on sounds that would enhance a reception, talk about marriage or are clearly wedding songs...
