Milan Kundera: “There is a secret bond between slowness and memory, between speed and forgetting.” Slowness makes authority nervous because the addictive phenom of speed, which blurs intent, detail, malfeasance & goal under the new-fast mirage, is ignored and so we can better see the patterns, the intention, the direction, the watermark, the the template... Those into quickness will arrive with time to spare and all of the anxiety related to the fact that they have forgotten how to use this time.
