This is my annual Best Of DJ list which is included in the collection of 2020 PSF writers best of lists. Mine are seldom strictly new, some going back 12 years but sounds new to me. There is no sell-by date for discovery. No message here other than enjoy these sounds however alien some may seem to you. Many people my age stop listening to new music using the poor quality of today’s pop music as a reason when we all know that current pop is a mere suspicious thin sticky layer puddled up on the corpus of deep sound. There is way too much good sound out there for us to absorb, embrace, comprehend – the peril of abundance. And so many tune out. Don’t!
