Charlie Morrow, madcapped transcendentalist, animal-friendly avant-gardist, conceptual Dr. Doolittlist, Fluxus artist avant la lettre, & laugh-inducing maxi-minimalist is a fascinating artist / conceptual provoker of mass art actions with 50+ years of events. &, since there is such a rich, deep, broad body of work, it was my most challenging radio show to date.
His work has skewed conventional ways of hearing, playing and doing. He has moved through many circles: the avant-garde, marching bands, spoken word, hippies, pop & ad jingles [Take the Train], soundscapes & 3D sound environments.
