US DHS wants to ensure Americans are safe within their borders [the enemy is within?]. Implementation is like the wet dreams to J. Edgar Hoover’s. The plan is insidious, scary, paranoid – & ridiculous – but also ironic that a nation that sells notions of freedom is ensuring freedom doesn’t threaten elite control.
DHS drafted a long list of “suspect” words inc. many the Electronic Privacy Info Center noted are, “broad, vague and ambiguous” – drill, gas, burn, pork, cloud. Privately contracted analysts created fake Twitter & Facebook profiles to scan social media & media orgs for "sensitive" words & identify authors of “media reports that reflect adversely on DHS & response activities.”
