I was invited to produce a radio show for Steve Barker's inimitable On The Wire, BBC Radio Lancashire, a show of legend & longevity, to celebrate publication of YODEL IN HIFI: FROM KITSCH FOLK TO CONTEMPORARY ELECTRONICA [http://uwpress.wisc.edu/books/4594.htm]. I decided to focus on yodeling in dub, dancehall, roots reggae, soul, funk & jazz. Dub is compatible with yodel's sonic ambiences since both use the enchantment of echo. This was all rip-roaring good fun & it includes many artists i admire and feature in the book.
