Representing the alternative in European music and attitude, Match&Fuse takes up Worldwide FM’s purpose of uncovering artists hell-bent on staying true to themselves.
"As there is an edition of the Match&Fuse festival in January, this month's show features music from a selection of the artists playing, including Norwegian trumpet and electronics soloist Hilde Marie Holsen, District Five Quartet, French keyboardist Gauthier Toux's new project For A Word and drummer Sun-Mi Hong with her quintet. There's new music from the We Jazz label, a sprinkling of drum & bass, and, as the Sound of Music was on TV at Xmas, there is the full version of Coltrane's 'My Favourite Things'...Happy New Year..." - Debra
