World Skip the Beat brings you the best in urban sounds, rare grooves, folk music and modern fusions from the REST of the world, expanding the notion of Global Music by exploring musical relationships and influences through genre- or region- specific features. Do you ever wonder what taxi drivers are listening to in Ethiopia, Croatia or Bangladesh? Are you curious about the lineage of Afro-Caribbean rhythms or the emerging Lebanese underground scene? Do you want to know what's happening in Montreal's own world music scene? Tune in Monday from noon to 2pm! Featuring a rotating cast of producers including, but not limited to: Parker Mah, David Ryshpan, Nelson Roubert, Luke Fowlie and others.
