The Jewel Box Concerts from Northeastern Illinois University are broadcast live each month on Friday nights, September through May, on 98.7WFMT. Each two-hour concert is broadcast either from Northeastern’s stunning Recital Hall or the larger Auditorium, both in the Fine Arts Building. During the intermissions of these public concerts, you’ll hear brief and engaging interviews with the artists. The Jewel Box Series is hosted and produced by Carolyn Paulin. The series engineer is Mary Mazurek. NEIU’s Christie Miller is coordinating producer and the technical supervisor from NEIU is Mike Mikrut.
