This one runs from Lagos to the Bronx to Rochdale and back, threading Afrobeat, Fania-era salsa, and a deep run of late-'80s London and New York soul through Beat Junkie, Alex Di Ciò, and Doc Adam edits. Expect Strut Records deep cuts sitting next to CTI jazz-funk, a Nina Simone blend, and a Brooklyn dancehall pocket that echoes itself twice before the night's out. Rare groove, edit culture, and a lot of label-crate history in one long, unbroken pull.
