This week’s broadcast is a two-hour trip through soul, disco, and Afro-Latin grooves, running from the percussive heat of Havana and Lagos to Philly-soul warmth and the jazz-funk basements of New York. Deep house and broken-beat edits sit alongside Brazilian and Cuban rhythms, with Osunlade and Donald Byrd leading the way. It closes on a post-punk and Italo-disco tip, with the dancefloor getting the last word.
