The DJ sets of herman b. are pure sex. For the last 20 years he
has rocked small and big venues all across Germany with wellknown acts such as Toni Rios,Miss Kittin or Der Dritte Raum, and recently even played in L.A. and
Mexico City. Listening to the way herman b. masters the machines, some people think that he must have at least
four arms with 7 fingers on each hand.
The brilliant sound he creates through his 3-turntable sets can be best described as jacky and fraggled
"intelligent techhouse".With his latest musical project Vierte
Heimat,he and his band present us their very own interpretation of minimal soul.
But that’s not where this creative genius stops. The man also
works uses Traktor Scratch, does his own productions and combines that with his DJing talent. He produces minimal techno and jackie, as he sees it as music with a drive and a hint of controlled insanity. His music is playful with an
intellectual touch.
