brighter the days ... felt good to arrive in the studio while the sun was setting, so that's a real good side of the sun saving time - spring is here finally. started with a few modal jazz moments by the likes of Elvin Jones, Stanley Cowell, Kenny Barron ... then back to 2025 with the brilliant SML followed by a step back in time with Homelife, which connects somehow with Florence Adooni's title track of her outstanding album. and yes, Omar is back and gave the motto for the show with his "brighter the days"...second art of the show into some cosmic disco jazz moments, lead and inspired by Yokai, the 12inch of the moment by The Mighty Zaf & Linkwood. big tunes from Spiral Deluxe, Joseph Malik and Charles Petersohn as well. Managed to throw more Roy Ayers tunes in the round, too. R.I.P. master of vibrations. enjoy sunshine, enjoy music. x
