Joshua Moriarty is a member of both Miami Horror & Melbourne Alt-Rock outfit All The Colours. in September 2017 he released his debut solo record War Is Over. He also runs a monthly podcast interviewing artists to discuss the philosophy of music and art called The Bottom Of It.
Moriarty is an artists inspired by the classics, both contemporary and antiquated. He is a man of refinement & sophistication, chivalry & charm. In a DJ set you can expect to hear Frank Sinatra next to the Spice Girls, George Michael beside Todd Terje. The link in the dichotomy is an instinct to follow the path of phonics, the playlist being dictated by the atmosphere of the environment & what the setting requires. No DJ set is the same because no event is the same, it can be a set of 50’s tropicana or RNB hits from the 90’s, esoteric 60’s blues or 00’s bangers, sometimes it is all of the above in one evening because there are no rules when it comes to having a good time!
