His conceptual podcasts always come with a very strong narrative — carefully woven stories where every moment has its place. In the comments, he’ll be sharing plenty about this journey, so there’s not much I can add in terms of describing the story itself.
I’ll just say that what you’ll hear here is a sublime kind of space opera, with evocative scores that at times transport you straight to the big screen and into worlds like 2001 or the recent Project Hail Mary; rock music, as you’d expect, and even experimental passages that build into purely abstract moments, all tied together by a deeply cosmic theme. A cinematic journey where, as Alan says in his own text, the music sets the course.
