"How did my first SSS mix came together? The cover photo is from my sacred place, taken on May Day's eve. It was full moon, the lake so still, the night quiet, save for spring's first migratory birds giving their concert. When I arrive there, I am filled with calmness, solace, hope, and the sense of being a small but important part of the Universe. Standing behind my decks with this experience in mind, the mix came alive. At some point, it took on a life of its own and landed in unknown, unplanned territories. I hope you find this journey meaningful and entertaining! Thank you so much for your time and ears!"
This is Luigi Lugez, from Finland, and nº70. I discovered him through a mix he did for @pedupre (thanks!) and loved his refined taste and vast musical background. This mix proves it: a musical epic in a low tempo key, moving through organic and synthetic territories with some regional touches; a long journey, but one well worth taking.
