squashrookie is #58, hailing from Budapest, Hungary. He's got a solid musical background and has been playing the violin for many years, but music isn't his primary occupation and his interests lean more towards electronic music . He mixes for fun and occasionally produces and masters tracks for his friends. In fact, here you'll find a track from 'brite forger/mono testing,' he helped craft in the studio. Droppin' soon at https://emptyfridge.bandcamp.com/
The session was all about capturing the vibe of a late summer night in Budapest. It's like a musical snapshot featuring Hungarian musicians and bands, including legends like Gabor Szabo, Gyorgy Ligeti, and Vig Mihaly. But it's not just them; there's also a bunch of lesser-known artists representing musical eras and scenes in a mix of experimentation, new wave, electronic, soul-jazz, synthpop or rock.
Hope y'all have a great week, and let this mix be part of it. Big thanks to squashrookie!
