Secret Sun Society #17 PROPHETE

17. He´s Prophete, a prolific member of Mixcloud. A dj that caught my attention because of his refined technique and high degree of perfectionism.
Born in Angers but based in Paris since 2007, he took his first steps with drums and percussion. Strongly influenced in his early days as a dj by hiphop culture and pioneers like the parisian Cut Killer, he´s gradually been moving closer to more electronic styles.
On his channel, in addition to this same mix, there´s a variety that ranges from tributes to French hip hop, d n´b or house /techno in their most underground aspects.
He´s a staunch of the physical format. This selection is made up of refs released on vinyl in 2019/20, from new labels from various countries. It's worth noting these labels of small scenes that release music of indisputable quality; the rest, the ride, also of top quality, is provided by him.
