Chris Clark, better known as Deep C joins the series. Originally from Detroit, he was a privileged witness to a memorable time in the motor city, growing and being influenced by people like the Electrifying Mojo, The Belleville 3 or Jeff Mills aka The Wizard. Later in Atlanta, he was part of projects like the legendary Wamdue Kids or Tiger Hook leaving an important legacy of top quality records.
This mix is a review of all this & more, I leave you with a message from him explaining it.
Huge thanks for everything, Chris!
"There's my Multicolor Alley Store Mix. It's pretty much a mixture of early Detroit techno and Chicago house that influenced my sound growing up. I threw in some Detroit party staples that I would hear at every party, no matter what style was playing. Then I ended it with an old Wamdue Kids track on Detroit label Acacia and another Detroit ish track to finish the mix. "
