Rikky Rock was one of the first djs to combine electro-breakbeat with tech-house and as a result coined the phrase Electrotech.
His inimitable style led him to DJ alongside Adam Freeland, Layo and Bushwaka, James Zabeila, The Plump DJs and The Stanton Warriors.
Being London based he was a regular guest DJ at Fabric, Bedrock , 333, The End, Home and others before being snapped up by The Electric Ballroom where he has now been resident for almost 10 years.
These days he plays more eclectic sets and playing 5 nights a week has a polished sound that means he always smashes it on the dance floor.
As part of a team he promoted the now legendary Laundry and Rise parties and in 2012 he started the annual "Through The Looking Glass" party.
As a producer he produces under the names Rikky Rock and Doctor Gold. Notable productions include KT Tunstall's first studio session and work with Jimpster including various remixes and mash-ups.
