Seventeen species of hawks, sandy beaches, a network of military forts and the site of George Washington's first inauguration -- all can be found among the National Parks of New York Harbor. No one knows these special places better than the naturalists, scientists and historians who work at them as National Park Service Rangers. In this new podcast series, park rangers share their insider stories about the wonders to be seen at these national treasures. Produced by the National Parks of New York Harbor Conservancy, located on the web at: nyharborparks.org.
