After two combat deployments to Iraq in 2005 and 2007 as a combat medic in the U.S. Army, Randy Dexter was diagnosed with severe PTSD, major depressive disorder, and a mild traumatic brain injury. He became a prisoner in his home and often contemplated suicide, but after his service dog, Captain, came into his life in August 2014, he found a new lease on life. Since then, the two of them have been a force of nature. With Captain by his side, Randy is on a mission to learn everything he can about humanity and share the stories of the amazing people he meets along the way. This Podcast chronicles their journey. Hopefully, they can inspire others to chase their dreams and truly live life to the fullest.
