Walk into the CHUO studios in Ottawa on a Tues afternoon, & you’ll see the door to the broadcasting booth flung open for the cheerful science ramblings of our hosts Andrew and Joel, as they explain the wildest phenomena in the universe week & most cutting-edge new developments in science. The stories are bizarre yet thoughtful, mysterious yet accessible, science yet not boring...all with a healthy dose of semi-lunacy.
The music they play alongside the science is reason enough to tune in Tues at 1PM EST to 89.1FM in Ottawa (or chuo.fm), especially if you want to expand your hipster cred :)
Did you know there's a berry that makes you taste sour things as sweet? That we can kill mosquitos with lasers? That we've created motors the size of molecules? That theoretical origami is...a thing? Tune in to our entertaining commentary & mind-blowing interviews with scientists, grad students, activists, et al as we shed light on the craziness of science through those who create & love it.
