This is a growing archive of full shows of, or excerpts from, Steve Barker's On The Wire radio programme. On the Wire was first broadcast on 16th September 1984 on BBC Radio Lancashire in the North West of England, and continues to this day.
Many of these have been contributed by faithful listeners who had the foresight to press play+rec many years ago and capture for posterity this unique BBC output.
