No matter how you look at it you will get the same. That is also what you can expect to hear, once he climbs behind the decks and in his element. Without genre tagging, he has a sound that’s always defined as Eugene's, no matter how you mix it or how many bpm you hear it. Clearly a lot of his Ukrainian roots are pressed into his sets, music that prepares you for a dancathon or a night of sonic story telling. Oriental flavors have been added thanks to years of infusion and frequently joining the couleur locale in Vietnam. Eugene is now stationed in Vancouver, embracing the West Coast vibes of Canadian Riviera. His house and techno rich sets are always surprising, uplifting yet so typical for Eugene Ko.
