Description
This week I nip down the Northern Line to visit esteemed sonic adventurer Nick Luscombe at home in his Waterloo flat. Nick and I met at London radio station Xfm in the 2000s, where he presented his long-running electronic music programme Flomotion (which now lives on Resonance).
Since that time Nick has worked on countless music, art and sound-related projects, and subsequently joined the regular roster of presenters on BBC Radio 3’s flagship experimental outpost Late Junction. This, alongside senior music editor roles at iTunes and London’s ICA, plus his global music and architecture project Musicity, makes him the ultimate AWFH guest.
On this podcast we play all kinds of different music and talk about radio, London, architecture and the challenge of staying true to your passion, however niche.
A Way From Home is in association with CALM, the Campaign Against Living Miserably.
