Climbing Nerd Mountain means getting really in-depth on a topic that you find fascinating. Christy Bennett's Nerd Mountain is lesser-known songwriters and musicians especially women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ. In each episode, she discusses the life story and career of one such artist with a fellow jazz musician. Each episode wraps with a discussion of the guest artist's own personal Nerd Mountain. The Nerd Mountain podcast is a part of the Nerd Mountain website, an online resource for in-depth biographies, interactive timelines, music videos, and more materials to learn about these hidden histories.
