Motel1989 is a traveling project, DJ sets and live sets are refined our fixed point to which we associate depending on the location performance art more congenial.
The work of importing the biggest names in electronic culture and the underground scene
tronics has been perhaps the most difficult targets reached, Genoa is not part of the game, but after two years can boast of having brought to Italy for the first time artists like Maya Jane Coles, Huxley, Kevin Griffiths, now among the biggest names of the European underground scene. Some label and collaborations with top artists such as Back & Forth, Music Apparel, Bosconi Records, Silicone Soul, Nicholas, Dave Dk, Lula Circus, Dirty Channel just to name a few.
Together with the city, local realities and to our customers we try to develop a routine Genovese scene working on the negative and projecting the qualities of this city through the local artists, Motel1989 is a container of ideas and dreams in constant development.
