Having lived in Birmingham all my life, I began listening to and playing records as soon as my dad would let me touch his beloved record collection. Not even out of nappies!
Loving all kinds of tempos of the 1940s through to the ’60s, I soon became hooked on how the music made me feel and by the age of nine I had discovered Elvis and, well , have never looked back, spending my teens into my 20s adding to my record collection. Life has taken many turns for me but my dream was always to be a DJ on the radio.
In 2010 I started that apprenticeship, and after continuously DJing on different Radio stations playing all kinds of music, I joined a rocknroll station in 2020. Knowing this wasn’t my final destination, I moved on to rockin 24/7 radio In 2022 where it has all fallen into place for me.
So sit back and enjoy my shows, where I will endeavour to play music you know ‘n’ love and just maybe when I flip them over, a ‘B’ side you may not know yet!
