Profile for The Mighty Worm: DJ specialising in African music.... plus a little bit of dancehall and bass....
I am also percussionist and MC with The Worm, London's freshest 21st century mali/reggae/garage act, playing bougarabou, djembe, congas and cajon. If you're a producer looking to sample some live percussion, hit me up.
And together with Max Baillie (violinist of The Worm), I run Wormfood at Passing Clouds, specialising in the common ground between African music, reggae, lyricism and dance music.
I run the 'African Rootmaster' section of Continental Drifts' Global Local project, and book bands for Hootananny Brixton, south London's best and friendliest live music venue.
