Hardwick is somewhat of an enigma, part urban cowboy, part shaman, part mad professor. Fiercely independent Hardwick produces, creates and engineers for a multitude of artists, releases through his label Underfoot Records, and lets loose in full band mode with his electric love child the groove rock indie outfit-Seeder. Hardwick writes observational songs with a satirical edge, crafted on experience, frustration, rich love, loss, joy, family, non-conformity, politics, nature. A multi genre pastiche that will challenge you, make you smile, think, reminisce and tap your feet. Hardwick’s unique tonal signature, of warmth and clarity, derives from combining classic with current technology. Bringing together digital interfaces and a comprehensive collection of valve preamps, dynamics and Eq’s.
