Lao Chi (aka Lix Method) is a bedroom turntablist, vinyl enthusiast & collector & intimate venue/crowd DJ
Lao Chi's ultimate goal is 2 keep perfecting his personal take on D art of audio montage; by juxtaposing & mixing elements of diverse records 2gether, weaving them in2 intricately extended sonic tapestries driven by dynamism & flow, & characterized by strong elements of structure, allowing 4 D listener/dancer 2 experience a unique journey, ideally without having 2 sacrifice D subversive joys of transitioning between different genres & alternating energies/moods
He sees this creative & recreative process of consistent propulsion 2wards unattainable perfection as ongoing, evolutionary & never-ending & as an end in itself
Lao Chi has been influenced by many diverse artists, from Nine Inch Nails to Aphex Twin, via Meat Beat Manifesto
