Lovespirals

Lovespirals began in 1999 as an evolution Love Spirals Downwards, the recording project of multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, Ryan Lum. Lum met vocalist/lyricist Anji Bee while promoting and their shared love of underground DJ culture drew them together. After releasing a series of atmospheric drum n bass singles, Lovespirals changed directions to explore guitar and lyric based music for their 2002 debut ‘Windblown Kiss.’ Lovespirals continue to refine their sound and explore new musical territories to create music that is both innovative and deeply personal. Bee's voice has a distinctive dreamy quality, with a wide range that can be both ethereal and soulful, often evoking a sense of nostalgia and longing while Lum's intricate guitar work and atmospheric textures have remained a constant throughout his career. In recent years the duo has focused on singles and EPs over long play albums.
