Oblivion Funk Vol 89 is a guest mix by legendary award-winning Australian music producer, engineer, artist & performer Plutonic Lab. This show airs on RapTz Radio, Paris International on Sunday 12th March.
The sweet spot on this mix covers a range of styles not limited to RnB, Jazz and Soul from the mid 60’s to mid 70’s that loosely pays tribute to the history of black liberation and also attempts to draw together the struggles, resilience and strength of black music. A few curve balls thrown in there too that seemed to fit emotionally.
With deep roots in the Australian hip hop scene, Plutonic Lab has collaborated with many notable artists and established himself as a solo artist, releasing several albums and EPs. His unique style of music is characterised by its intricate beats, soulful melodies, and innovative soundscapes.
