Boomski says, as I was gathering tracks to fit the brief, I had a lot of flashes come from a lot of different genres across a lot of different timelines. How to mix them? It struck me that the warnings from the past echo through time and still go unheeded. And time.. time to act, is running out. I am usually known for my instrumental sets, but it was obvious the message hits home with words…and where there weren’t any, I put some in…giving me a chance to use all those Christian doomsday thrift-store pickups! Also, I am known for my left-field selections and tongue-in-cheek commentary which are on display in this end-of-year special “Don’t Say You Weren’t Warned” mix from me, DJ Boomski.
