Known to many as DJ Rugz, John Ruggles is a lifelong vinyl digger, beat-maker and musician whose fingerprints can be found across decades of underground hip hop and reggae culture. A long-time collaborator of Wayne Lotek, Rugz has performed with Dubdoubt, appeared at Falls Festival with Lotek & The Rebel HiFi, contributed to recordings by Roots Manuva, and worked on projects including Rebel HiFi, Reggaematizer and Larry Frames.
