There was a time when a book delighted your senses. It felt substantial in your hands. The aroma of oiled leather greeted your nose. Pages were a feast for your eyes with their hand-lettered text and beautiful illuminations. If you know where to look, you can find modern books that are just as extraordinary. I find those books and share them with you here and at the Kaleidoscope in Hampton, Iowa.
The format varies: One episode may feature an author interview, the next a reading. There are book reviews, and previews of upcoming events. Some shows are serious - some are comic. And if a book sounds interesting, I invite you to shop the Kaleidoscope's online store at OurFocusIsYou.com or telephone to place your credit-card order - 641-456-2787. It will be a pleasure to serve you. I own the store. Keri Holmes
