Retired Professor of Emergency Medicine with a jones for jazz. I had to become an ER doc to support my music habit. Weekly two-hour radio show on WPPM-LP, streaming at Phillycam/listen. First hour is nostalgia for obsessive-compulsives - news and music from 60 years ago this week. Second hour more free-form, like old late-1960s FM. Maybe music I have collected in my world travels. Maybe highlighting a particular artist or genre. Maybe 10 versions of the same song. Maybe best covers of another artist's songs. It's sort of free-form, but always entertaining and probably educational. As a retired teacher, I can't not teach. And I will always remind you to keep your ears open to good sounds, old and new - doctor's orders.
