Take a master craftsman of mood, add a heaping serving of funky groove, and garnish with the sophisticated flavor of programming genius. Jomai Etu lays down a banquet of deep, dark, and delicious house music in every DJ set, served bangin’ hot, each new course delivered with exquisite timing.
The energy and mood are always selected for the location, crowd, and time, but Jomai’s music is unmistakeable wherever you hear it. Behind the up-front New York rhythm and drive, there is always something fun and quirky, whether it’s a bouncy bassline or punchy synth hook. His throbbing rhythms have soul and funk, even at their 4am hardest and spaciest.
Jomai’s own music is filled with pulsing colors, throbbing sensations, and exotic flavors. Topped with spacy sound effects, supported by banging beats, and finished with a serious dose of bass, his sound is infectious and unmistakeable.
