DJ Love Handles ... aka Jason G ... discovered electronic dance music in 1996 or so in Hong Kong ... many long nights in Neptunes and at DJ Christian's place opened his ears ... got the bug, got some decks, DJ David Lam allowed him to annoy punters at Club Star in Hong Kong on quiet Tuesdays. Later unleashed his dubious skills on unwitting clubbers at CE Top, Yellow Frog, Homebase and the odd rave and warehouse party in HK and Macau. Later in Bangkok, Cafe Democ and Q Bar. Not big on genres, I like anything that's got a good bassline and a bit of soul ... but mostly nu funk, ghetto funk, glitch hop, electro swing, funky house, deep house, tech house, progressive house, electro, techno and breakbeat. Anything but EDM.
You can't put soul in a bottle. You can't quantify soul.
